what’s a whiskey link?
It all started with a black-tie event and a wardrobe desire. I wanted to wear a pair of Jack Daniel's cufflinks, and I wanted them to be one-of-a-kind made from the label on the bottle. I removed the label from a bottle of Jack and I made them myself. This single action launched Whiskey Links® & More.
I created a way to savor and celebrate my favorite pours in a unique way and style, cufflinks, and organically and simultaneously the name of my new creation popped into my head, "Whiskey Links!"
Whiskey Links®: How We Grew
What began as a personal project quickly caught on:
Friends & Family: Loved ones started asking for items featuring their favorite bourbons and cigar bands.
Industry Partners: Industry people reached out, and I started making custom items for their team for events.
The Philadelphia Milestone, Laura Fields and The American Whiskey Convention: A major whiskey conference in Philadelphia opened the door wide. I coordinated directly with the organizer to make welcome gifts for all the distilleries and industry folks attending. From that moment on, I never looked back.

Today, I continue to make unique, reasonably priced novelty items including: cufflinks, cigar flasks, money clips & more!
You won't find Whiskey Links® in a traditional shop or online. We keep our work exclusive because I want to meet you and customize something personal, unique and one-of-a-kind for you.
Live Events: The absolute best way to find us and grab a piece is by catching us live at street festivals, craft festivals and holiday events.
Custom Orders: While we generally stick to our festival line-up, we will take on special custom orders for unique situations like weddings or requests from industry professional teams.

While "Mark Makers" might be a fictitious name, the person behind it is entirely real. It’s a creative alter ego designed to keep a personal passion separate from other areas of life, not out of deception, but to carve out a space dedicated to celebrating great whiskey, unforgettable stories, and shared community. So consider this your invitation to play along, pull up a chair, pour a drink and let’s get back to enjoying great whiskey together.
Credentials & Expertise
Mark brings a deep, professional foundation to every event, tasting, and project. As a Certified Bourbon Steward through the Stave & Thief Society, a graduate of The Whisky Ambassador Programme, and a RAMP Certified professional in Pennsylvania, he combines formal expertise with a genuine passion and welcoming style. But beyond the credentials, Mark’s greatest asset is the room itself, fostering genuine connections, sharing laughs and building community with everyday enthusiasts and industry insiders. Whether leading a tasting for 250 people or an intimate gathering of friends, the goal is always the same: to create an unforgettable experience that leaves guests asking, “When’s your next event?”
